Your tour will begin as you are collected from your hotel in the Side area. From there, your first stop will be to the village of Avasun, which is also known as “laurel village”. Afterwards, you will drive to a height of approximately 1,200 meters, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Green Canyon, Green Lake, and Manavgat.

From there you will visit the small village of Ürünlü, which is known for its “button houses”. There you can relax in a local café before heading to the local national park to drink natural tea. Next, you will visit the Altınbeşik Cave, which is also known as the “Gold Cradle Cave”. There you will be able to discover the largest underground lake in the country. You are bound to be inspired by the beauty of this place, as you explore it throughout a 20-minute boat trip.

Towards the end of your tour, you will taste a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Ormana. Following lunch, you will explore the village of Sarıhacılar, including its 650-year-old Ottoman mosque, before returning to your hotel.

Reliable tour operator in Side Staying in a nearby hotel we walked past this tour operator on our first night in Side. He gave us a brochure and some advice on what trips were available. We ended up booking a mixed tour and whilst not all the information he gave us was 100% correct we had a nice and enjoyable excursion on the day. We weren't able to pay by card but he was happy to drive us to the nearby cashpoint by the beach to withdraw cash so this was easily solved. I'd happily recommend this operator for anyone looking for tours in the nearby area.

Nette Beratung Die Mitarbeiter sind nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben zwei Touren dort gebucht: Die Green Canyon Tour war sehr entspannend und ist auch bei hohen Temparaturen gut machbar. Die Alanya Tour (mit Bananenplantage und Tropsteinhöhle) war eher mittelmäßig, was in erster Linie an dem sehr beengten Bus lag. Einfach eine Reihe raus nehmen und es wird angehnemer für alle Reisenden! Bei der Alanya Tour ist als ein Stop die Bananenplantage vorgesehen. Man fährt dabei mitten in ein Wohngebiet und wird dann quasi allein gelassen... diesen Punkt kann man getrost rausnehmen, denn ohne Erklärungen der Reiseleitung oder eines ansässigen Bauerns macht das Ganze keinen Sinn. Die Tropfsteinhöhle ist zwar schön, aber sehr klein und durch die Touristenmassen sehr überlaufen. Wirklich schön war dagegen das Essen in einem Picknickrestaurant sowie die Bootstour an den Höhlen vorbei.

Excellent for Tours in and around Antalya We were recommended to N-Keskin Turizm by a trusted person in Side. There are a lot of stands selling tours, which may be cheap, but are not legal due to the fact they are not registered. It is best to be aware of this.We went to see Feyzullah (Feyzo) at N-Keskin and made told him we were looking to do about 3 tours which were varied and scattered throughout our 10 day trip. He is a very happy and friendly man and made us feel very welcome and was not pushy in his approach.We chose 3 trips and one separate visit to a local hammam.The first was a boat tour to Dolphin Island with operator Baba Boot. We spent the day sailing down the river to the sea, snorkelling, taking period swim breaks where we could even dive straight from the ship and taking in the sights. We were told by Feyzo, there was an 80% chance of seeing dolphins and turtles and we saw both! It was beautiful. Lunch was included and was delicious. Drinks were not included and they cost about €3 (15 lira) for a small beer and €2 (10 lira) for a soda. We had brought two big bottles of water with us so it was not too bad. There was a dance/foam party, but if you aren’t into this, they only had on one deck. An excellent day out.The second trip was to Antalya with a trip in the cable car up the side of the Taurus Mountains and a side excursion . This too was a great trip although it was incredibly hot and about 5 degrees warmer than Side. We were the only people who did the cable car. Others were either dropped off in the city for a whole day to see the sights of Antalya, or went to the water park. The cable car takes about 15 mins each way and not air conditioned so was a bit uncomfortable. It is well worth it when you get to the top and the panoramic views of the city and sea are incredible. We had the choice of eating at the revolving restaurant at the top, or going to the city for lunch. We asked out tour guide if he could take us to a real Turkish restaurant and he did! He explained everything and the people made us feel very welcome. Afterward, we walked around the city but too hot to do much. We met the group and took one last excursion to see the waterfalls at Kurşunlu Waterfall Nature Park. Although hot and tired at this point, this was beautiful and interesting! I would recommend wearing trainers as there is bit of hiking and the paths can be a bit slippery! Again, another great excursion!Our final trip was to the Taurus Mountains to see some of the old villages, 600 year old mosque and Altinbesik Cave. Our tour guide was quite funny and made the hot trip a bit more bearable. We were able to stop and take pictures of the scenery, Manavgat River. It was breathtaking! The highlight was the cave and 20 mins boat ride. Afterward, we visited the village of Ormana for a very lovely 3 course lunch of various Turkish dishes. Finally, we made our way to see an old mosque, which was a good experience as I have never been to a mosque and it was interesting to hear and experience some of the customers around it. Again, another great excursion. The only downside was the fact that our tour guide seemed very happy at the beginning, but we soon found out why. He was giving us a lot of information about Bay leaves and the oil made from the bay seeds. He then produced bottles which he made himself and tried to sell them on the bus. He wasn’t as happy after only two people bought them. We were one of the two! Finally, the Hammam is the one reason for 4/5 stars. I have provided a separate review of this as the hammam we were taken to was Prestige VIP Hammam. This was not a relaxing experience. There were so many people in the group, we were taken to each room and I felt like we were cattle being herded through. I realised why at the end when, during the “relaxing” massage, they kept bringing people (male & female) in to try to sell extensions and medical message to us. It was very uncomfortable especially being naked fromthe waist up to have a man suddenly come in to tell me I needed medical massage for 500 lira (£90 or €100) and to say my boyfriend told me to have one. They told him the same thing. Afterward, they rushed us out after spending £135 without even an offer of rest or water after such an ordeal. I felt so sick and dizzy afterward and even worse when I read reviews where people had similar experiences. I reported this back to Feyzo who seemed sincerely upset and even came to see us at the hotel to apologise. I would recommend asking more questions and doing research so you do not have this same experience. The only other minor point is that N-Keskin could provide more practical information to customers about what to expect on the excursions, seeing as we have never been there before. Knowing not to wear sandals at the falls and more info about the locations would have been very welcome considering I almost killed myself a few times on slippery paths!! All-in-all, we will definitely be using N-Keskin Turizm again and Feyzo definitely made our trip to Side much more memorable!
